Description
--- "Der Graf von Carcassonne" is a Carcassonne expansion with 12 tiles and a wooden Count figure, enabling strategic follower placement and movement in city regions to interfere with opponents' scoring. Key mechanics include: - *Follower placement* When placing a tile that scores for others but not self, place a follower in one of four city regions. - *Count movement* Move the Count to a region, imprisoning all followers there. - *Scoring interference* Regions correspond to scoring methods; move followers to scored features to share or prevent opponents' scoring. - *Compatibility* Requires base Carcassonne game; combinable with other expansions. Der Graf von Carcassonne (The Count of Carcassonne) is an expansion for the Carcassonne series, including twelve tiles depicting the town of Carcassonne visited by the Count, plus a wooden Count figure. Players, upon placing a tile that triggers scoring for others but not themselves, may deploy a follower into one of the city's four regions, each linked to a specific scoring method. They can also reposition the Count to any region, thereby imprisoning all followers within it. During scoring of a matching feature type, owners of imprisoned followers may relocate them to that feature, allowing them to partake in the points or block rival claims. This adds layers of tactical interference and control. The expansion necessitates the base Carcassonne game and integrates seamlessly with other expansions. It is available standalone or within Carcassonne: Expansion 6 – Count, King & Robber. ---
