Description

--- <TLDR>Four Gods: real-time tile-laying game building a shared world, claiming gods, placing prophets to control landscapes for majority scoring and bonuses. Key mechanics include: - *Tile-laying* Players simultaneously place double-sided landscape tiles (1-3 types each) into a frame, matching borders on two adjacent sides. - *Discard and draw* Place tiles in personal discard (max 10); draw two new with free hands or pick from any discard to place. - *God claiming* At any time, claim one of four landscape-specific gods (e.g., merfolk) and its followers. - *Prophet placement* Place prophets on tiles just added to claim landscapes; multiple per turn on own tiles. - *City markers* Place round markers in unfillable spaces (e.g., mismatched borders), claim with prophets; "smash" and collect if matching tile later found. - *Scoring* 5 pts per city occupied/smashed; per landscape, majority prophets score (tiles - prophets); god bonuses for largest masses/groups. Four Gods is a real-time tile-laying game where players sit outside a cardboard frame representing world boundaries, starting with two random double-sided tiles depicting 1-3 of four landscape types. Players simultaneously build inward from corners, placing tiles adjacent to frame or existing tiles with matching landscapes across borders; alternatives include discarding to personal area (max 10 tiles) or drawing/picking tiles with free hands. At any point, claim one landscape-associated god (e.g., merfolk) and followers, then place prophets on self-placed tiles to claim landscape sections, multiple per turn. Place city markers in unfillable spaces for prophet claims, removable ("smashed") if matching tile appears later. Game ends when world fills or no more placements possible; scoring awards 5 points per city occupied/smashed, plus for each landscape with prophets, the player(s) with most prophets score tiles minus prophets count. Gods gain bonuses for their landscape's largest mass, second/third largest; and most distinct groups, second/third. Highest-scoring god wins. ---
